Operate
Engineers request what they need with a justification. Approvers decide in one or more steps. Everything is recorded in a tamper-evident audit log.
Transfer
When someone changes role, ELOS works out which access to add and which to remove. When someone leaves, it runs a knowledge-transfer plan and hands their services to named successors.
Preserve
Ask ELOS answers from your own knowledge and cites every source. If the sources don't support an answer, it says so. It reads only what the person asking is allowed to read.

Your source control, identity provider, cloud, tracker, documentation and on-call tools stay the systems of record. ELOS connects them and runs the workflows that fall between them.
